Food has always been front and centre for me – an unerring friend and a constant passion. From as far back as I can remember, mealtimes have always been the highlight of my day. My holidays would centre not around the sights and sounds of my foreign surroundings, but around the smells and the tastes of new and exciting cuisines.
I began to recreate many authentic dishes from around the world and, over time, I began to share these dishes over social media with other foodies.
Which brings me neatly to this, my very first blog. Over the coming weeks I will begin sharing with you some of my favourite dishes. If sharing these recipes, tips and other bits and pieces inspires you in even the smallest way, then it will have been worth doing. To be continued…

So excited to work through some of your recipes! There’s a lot I’ve never even thought to make before.
Thanks for sharing them!

Hi James,
Thanks so much for the lovely comment — it really made my day! I’ve actually been cooking up something special behind the scenes… a fusion eCookbook blending South African roots with Thai fire. It’s called Sticky Fingers & Sambals — bold, messy, and full of the flavours I love most.
I’m nearly ready to share it — and I’ll be offering it as a free download very soon. If you’re curious (or hungry!), keep an eye out — I’ll be posting updates and a link here shortly.
Thanks again for the encouragement — it means the world.
Warm wishes,
Paul
